Innkeepers Jim and Marsha Akins have been residents of Canton and St. Lawrence County for nearly 40 years.  Both Jim and Marsha have a love for home-style healthy cooking and are committed to providing you, their guests, with a warm and comfortable stay.   Akins Acres is also “adventure friendly”.  In addition to welcoming college families, we are looking forward to hosting bicyclists, kayakers, canoeists, hikers, and X country skiers.
